MY TOOLS AND WORKFLOWS

 

I am fluent in file-based workflows and camera formats including RED, Arri, Sony and Canon. I usually work from a FCP project and the raw footage. I export an XML of the FCP edit and import that and the raw footage into my Da Vinci Resolve for color grading. I then render out the footage with the color grading ‘baked in’ and export a new XML for input into FCP. All the edits and filters will be intact.  The editor may have to go through and check the edit to make sure any speed changes or other FX are intact but in most cases there is minimal editorial work required.  My efficient data-centric workstation can save you time and money without compromising quality.
